This is my Gold Deck! Not to be mistaken with Golduck. I've been working on collecting the gold-bordered World Champs cards, which are technically considered proxies, but look really classy. Some of the cards fetch a surprisingly high price for "proxies" but the gold versions of power cards (eg Force of Will, Gaea's Cradle) are significantly cheaper than the "real" thing.

"Derevi Frands" was superfrands. But playing stax makes you lose your frands! Le sad...

Removed the planeswalker package in attempt to focus on stax and increase power level. (Edit: Woohoo! I got the "power level meter" to 100% competitive!)

It's pretty similar to the now-established cEDH "Birdwizard Stax" deck. After locking down the board, it uses a Birthing Pod chain, using Felidar Guardian and Karmic Guide to ultimately fetch Peregrine Drake + Deadeye Navigator for infinite mana and infinite Derevi ETB triggers. If that isn't enough to make your opponents scoop, you can use the pod to fetch Willbreaker and steal your opponents' boards.

At some point, I intend to add a Yisan, the Wanderer Bard chain, but haven't gotten around to it.

There are several opportunities for hard and soft Stasis locks. Sword of Feast and Famine and Garruk Wildspeaker are the hard locks.

MVP card though is Seaside Haven! I LOVE this card! there are times when I have a decent lock on the board but need some gas. Frequently I can draw one or more extra cards per turn using that land and Derevi.
