Sideboard

Perv at their hand.Kill their board.Counter their plays.Mill their deck.Feed your creatures.

To expand a bit, the idea is to control them while slowly milling at them. Little creatures are killed, massive attacks can be bounced to their hand, scary spells are countered, all while slowly scrying, drawing, all before eventually playing creatures that will have counters far outweighing their mana cost. The exception is Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker, who I'm not too sure belongs in this deck. On paper he does, but he rarely gets played.

Unlike other control decks, this plays at midrange speed. A turn five Traumatize can mean your Wight of Precinct Six is laughably massive.

The sideboard has controvertially specific spells in it, and allow me to defend this. I feel that this deck is very flexible, but the mainboard is weak to specifically black creatures. For this reason I included Dark Betrayal to deal with the black and its mixtures. Dispel is a similarly hyperspecific spell that is there to deal with control decks that would want to kill off someone like Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker or Consuming Aberration. One important thing to note is that nobody sees these coming. Who in their right mind would play such a hyperspecific spell? The answer is people with hyperspecific vulnerabilities. Namely, Rakdos Charm or other graveyard wipers. It's very easy to have that one blue mana open. It also helps against Sphinx's Revelation and many other common instants.
