The goal of this deck, in itself, is an interactive deck that aims to control your opponent's draws by looking at the top of their deck and milling the useful cards. This is based on the modern Lantern control where you do the same but attempt to do something similar with 99 card decks and 3 opponents this is almost impossible. This deck can be a lot of fun, asking your opponents what they are planning to do with certain cards or letting them have something if they use it on someone else.

You win with your commander due to constantly casting Dramatic Reversal causing your opponents to exile their entire deck. And you can do the same with shredders but only with targeted ones, you can also mill yourself but make sure you have enough cards.

Opponents Decks

  1. Rakdos Reanimator
  2. Izzet Big Spells
  3. Naya Food Tokens

Gameplay Breakdown: In this match I did end up losing to the Izzet Spells deck due to having to handle the Rakdos deck attacking me with a Menace 11/11. But the deck worked quite well, I was able to keep the Izzet players large spells like Insurrection and Sea Gate Restoration  . And also was able to shut off the Rakdos players Necrotic Ooze from being able to activate abilities with my commander. And I didn't really micro manage the food player because we were slightly working together against the Big Spells player.

MVP:

Thief of Sanity - was able to get the big spell players good removal, the food token players ramp spells. If a player didn't have a good spell on top I would shred the top card for a new one. Someones Chaos Warp deterred a lot of attacks against me.

Propaganda - The reanimator player kept wanting to attack me but didn't want to pay the price. Worked quite well.

Cuts: Ended up cutting Voltaic Key, Spellseeker, Bolas's Citadel, Scrap Trawler, Dizzy Spell, Salvaging Station.

Opponent Decks

  1. Meren of Clan Nel Toth Recursion

  2. Queen Marchesa Stax/Monarchy

  3. Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin Goblins

Gameplay Breakdown: In this match we ended up losing to Krenko with Impact Tremors. The game was very slow due to the fact the Meren player constantly recurred a Plaguecrafter which shut down the goblin deck. With that I ended up not reading the board too good and tutored for a Dauthi Voidwalker to basically shut down the Meren deck. After I was able to do that the Monarch player had lots of court pieces and had a value engine and the goblin player came back. I began focussing Precognition and Jace, the Mind Sculptor to control the Monarch players top decks but again the goblin player began pinging us for damage which lost us the game. I also ran into the problem again, even after adding draw effects of having very little cards in hand. I also believe that too much of my deck is dedicated to getting the strategy onlin so some draws were only for 1 mana artifacts but I needed win cons. So the deck will be pivoting to something different, I really enjoy the Thief of Sanity and Dauthi Voidwalker effects that the control will head towards setting up my opponents topdeck for something I want to cast.

MVP:

Dauthi Voidwalker - Completely shut down the Meren deck and gave me options to cast spells not in blue black.

Cyclonic Rift - Suprise, suprise, this helped so much getting rid of all of the courts the monarch player had, if I had a big creature or something take advantage of this tempo boost I think I could have won.

Cuts: Ended up cutting Wand of Denial, Reconstruction, Precognition
