If you sacrifice Mr. Sandman before your next upkeep, you keep the sand tokens, awesome!

If you flicker Mr. Sandman you get two triggers on your next upkeep for double the sand! Bonus points if you can also sacrifice him so you get to keep that sand forever!

Getting Aziz Tamari off the field is of utmost importance in most cases or he WILL be targeted for removal, and don't fucking think he won't, hubris is the folly of man and will be your undoing if you think you're above it in this deck.

If you flicker or sacrifice Sandy Cheeks and cast Shield of Velis Vel on an opponent, all their creatures become sand warriors, so they exile when Hazy Tazy leaves play. That's right, a one mana, one sided, instant board wipe! #Has science gone too far? #Wizards ruining the game

Now you want to ramp out lands, not mana, so you need to disregard that part of your brain that's saying "Add mana rocks and dorks to play that ridiculous general of yours!" that part of your brain is called the "Donkey Brain" in the scientific community and you should never listen to it.
