The Deck

Let's get Mairsil-ly (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

Cage things, do dumb things, get Dr. Jank's Wild Cage Party started. Very simple, very fun, very obnoxious if you choose. Plenty of routes for this kind of deck, so here's mine.

Strategy

As with most Mairsil decks, we want things caged. However, there are several combos we can establish through our caging ways. (Do note that Quicksilver Elemental is required to go infinite):

Combo #1

• Tree of Perdition + Hateflayer

Very straightforward, use Tree to swap health of Mairsil and opponent, then blast opponent for the four, killing them. Very spicy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Combo #2

• Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth

Generate colourless mana. Do with this as you would.

Combo #3

• AEtherling + Nevinyrral's Disk

Boardwipe on a stick. Activate Nev's, then use AEtherling to protect Mairsil. Simple as!

Combo #4

• Gilded Lotus + Pili-Pala

Generate coloured mana. Do with this as you would (again).

Combo #5

• Sage of Hours + Anthroplasm

With enough mana, infinite turns. No Quicksilver Elemental required.

Combo #5.5

• Timestream Navigator + Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Second verse, same as the first.

Combo #6

• Gilded Lotus + Hateflayer

Similar to Combo #1, as it achieves the same result, though it requires Quicksilver Elemental + enough mana for the QE activations to kill the table

The All-Star

• Quicksilver Elemental

Using this bad boy, we can circumvent Mairsil's restriction, allowing us to use each ability he has caged multiple times in a turn. This, combined with the above combos, allows for us to go infinite.
