When I first heard that line from Symphony of the Night I fell in love. I had no idea why I never payed it so much attention. It was some of the cheesiest dialogue in video game history, and I LOVE cheesy. So when me and my friend Jason started talking about the Castlevania series we wondered who in the Magic multiverse would personify Dracula the best. The new Olivia, the vampire queen herself? Red black vampires?! No. Not quite. Ascendant Evincar?! Close, but I'm not feeling it. Not oppressive enough. Baron Sengir? No. Garza Zol? No. Kalitas? No. Vish Kal? N- Wait! Vish Kal. He uses his minions to get stronger, then uses that strength to eliminate a threat. VISH KAL IT IS!!! Orzhov Dracula. Jason Shaffer would go on to build Jor Kadeen as Simon Belmont, and we'd have great fun quoting Symphony of the Night together.
