Dragons are awesome. End of story. This philosophy carries over to MtG. I'm convinced that they are so good, that even in mono colored red (losing access to the likes of card:Kartthus, Tyrant of Jund, card:Atarka, Worldrender, etc), and even with a commander as vanilla a Rorix Bladewing, they can still easily emerge victorious.
