EAT YOUR VEGGIES!!!!!
Borborygmos Enraged is one of my favorite EDH general/commander I like to play with.
The deck consists of almost 70 lands and half of which are non basics.
The way to play is to try and rush out your general and kill them off by throwing lands to their faces and telling them to EAT THEIR VEGGIES!!!. It's simple and it's super fun.
You have the power to give Borborygmos Enrage haste
Now you're like what about Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots? My reason why I don't run them is because those are usually the firsts to go when other people play artifact/enchantment hate such as Disenchant and Naturalize. With Anger, Hall of the Bandit Lord, and Dragon Breath they work really well.
If they kill Anger then Borborygmos has haste already, but if he's still in play when Borborygmos ETBs then i'll fling a land at it to give me the haste boost.
If Dragon Breath is in hand I can enchant Borborygmos, but if it's in the graveyard, it becomes a free attach and still giving it haste.
Hall of the Bandit Lord can be brought back with Life from the Loam and Creeping Renaissance.
Next part are cards that can really help you get Borborygmos out faster to cause some damage before your opponent s go out to build.
Azusa, Lost but Seeking, oracle of muldaya,
Journey of Discovery
, Walking Atlas, Druidic Satchel, Budoka Gardener, Rites of Flourishing, and Explore.
When these come out early they help me get those lands in faster to get my general out faster. Explore is my least favorite, but it still doesn't hurt you as much drawing it in the late game.
Rites of Flourishing is there for that extra land drop, and that doesn't always benefit your opponents, except for the howling mine effect. You should usually win the landdrop with this card especially with almost 70 lands in the deck.
Next part I want to talk about are these three cards.- ScapeshiftSome people like to use this for the Valakut combo, but i really use it to just thin out my deck and get better lands to keep casting Borborygmos from the command zone.
Genesis WaveThis is just one card that IMO works pretty well with the deck, because it acts as ramp. My deck consists of like 17 non-permanent spells so getting mana or other permanents will be a plus, and also helps thin out my deck.
Rites of Spring
I use this mainly to thin out my deck, but it also helps by getting Anger and Dragon Breath to the graveyard while reloading my hand.
Next part will be the cards that can win you the game when Borborygmos is out in play.
Life from the LoamHelps you reuse those lands from your graveyard. And with those cycling lands it will keep this combo going as long as you can pay for it.
Creeping RenaissanceAfter you have thrown all your lands to your opponents faces why not reload them. oooh look it even has flash back!!! XP
Knollspine DragonWhy not hit someone with a crap load of damage and then draw a card for each damage dealt to finish everyone else off? yeah awesome knollspine. He's like Borborygmos's favorite pet. :D
OverblazeThey never see it coming... muahaha TURN THOSE LIGHTNING BOLTS FOR BALLS OF LIGHTNING!!!
Yes there are those enchantments such as Furnace of Rath and Gratuitous Violence, but I just prefer the instant surprise.
The other spells are just mana ramp, but if you got your general tucked in your deck you still have Seismic Assault. This is also why I am considering putting Green Sun's Zenith just to get him out or even get out my other creatures.
Oh yes my shits and giggles cards. They can be win condition, but it's a bit like gambling.

Fling a land? DRAW A CARD!!! What!?!?! another land!?!?! FLING A LAND!!!!! muahaha, yes I know it's not really gambling when your chances of drawing a land is like almost 7/10.
And yes I throw in a Lightning Bolt because Who the HECK PLAYS LIGHTNING BOLT IN EDH!?!?! I DO!!!!
My playstyle while in the lead is to keep my opponent in Lightning Bolt range. They become my slave if they want to live longer, but of course they have the choice to kill themselves, which Borborygmos will allow. Sometimes they try get cheeky though and do shenanigans to Borborygmos with like split second crap. After Borborygmos goes down though I end their life with a Lightning Bolt and Borborygmos will still laugh in his grave!!!
Remember if you play this guy to only throw lands to faces unless you really need to connect Borborygmos's attack to someone's face.
