Recently took apart a beloved Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch B/R tokens matter deck that was pretty garbage. It had a reanimator and counters theme but it was just bad. Putting it back together with Exava and some of the fun cards I enjoyed from that deck. (See "cards I really wanted to play" to see that this deck is pretty idiosyncratic in its taste for "cards I think are cool" versus the absolute best cards to run. For example, there's not really much combo and no infinite combos.)

5 Pillars to this deck.

1.) Combat Superiority: Tokens and cards that buff creatures with tokens. This includes "Vamps matter" cards that rely on Olivia's type conversion ability. Mephidross Vampire is the epitome of both elements. Redundant haste granters. First strike and a tiny bit of dub strike.

2.) MADNESS: Discard outlets and madness for card advantage.

3.) Card Draw: Looting cards that keep the card draw coming and fill our hand AND make our graveyard ready for reanimation. Also just card draw that takes advantage of an empty hand.

4.) Removal: Wipes that only target weaker creatures, not our buff tokenized Vamps. Damage to players when possible, to proc off Bloodlord of Vaasgoth (see "cards I wanted to play") Spot creature removal and artifact removal. Damage to players when appropriate to proc off Bloodlord of Vaasgoth again.

5.) Reanimation. Sticking this deck's neck out a bit for the reanimation stuff.
