Edric is a very interesting commander a lot of people like to use in multiplayer, but personally, I enjoy him in some good old one on ones, because that changes his text to "Whenever a creature you control deals damage to your opponent, draw a card" and that makes it amazing, because there's so many ways to take advantage of this.Nature's Will gives you the ability to untap all your lands and tap down your opponents when your creature hits them. Beastmaster Ascension makes your creatures more powerful when they attack in swarms. Champion of Lambholt can make your creatures unblockable. Chasm Skulker takes advantage of Edric's card draw to the maximum extent. Coastal Piracy lets you draw an extra card in addition to Edric, Thought Reflection lets you draw 2 cards instead of the one, and finally, the coup de grace, Laboratory Maniac for when you're ready to attack with an army of creatures, but you know your opponent will survive, you play Lab Maniac, draw a ton of cards, and then, if Thought Reflection is on the field, you can double the card draw, and if Coastal Piracy is on the field as well, you can quadruple your card draw, and possibly win the game, which makes this deck very easy to win with, especially because it usually flies under the radar with low power creatures like Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic, which makes Edric very powerful in his respective seatings and skills.
