I've been looking for a new EDH deck for a while and, when Omnath, Locus of Rage was spoiled, I'd found it. I've always wanted to do something elemental-y, but I didn't like Horde of Notions . The goal here is to hit a bunch of landfall triggers off Omnath, Locus of Rage and have a bunch of ways to kill elementals for extra damage.

Ramp

There's a lot of it, and I'm not sure it's enough. I skimped out on mana rocks because after Omnath, Locus of Rage hits play a mana rock is dead to me but Explosive Vegetation suddenly gives me two 5/5s and two lands. The goal is to have roughly 15-20 ways to get extra lands into the battlefield. I won't list them all out here, but I'd love thoughts on improvements.

Token Generation

• Primal Vigor , Parallel Lives gives me twice the tokens off of any of my token generation strategies.
• Elemental Mastery makes a bunch of 1/1 Elementals that get exiled at end of turn. But with Omnath out I can swing with them and threaten to do three to the face if they block, then sac them all to a sac outlet after combat to get free stuff. Yay free stuff.
• Eyes of the Wisent isn't a reliable token generator, but it deters counterspells and it's hard to resist the flavor
• Zendikar's Roil can also take advantage of lands coming in for me.
• Tempt with Vengeance is great fun, especially if opponents want some elementals too.
• Rakka Mar can make some elementals for me every turn

Sacrificing Elementals

• Evolutionary Leap can tutor up another elemental for me, but it's here primarily to sac already dying elementals and get an extra benefit from them (like elementals I've evoked and tokens that are leaving EoT anyway).
• Altar of Dementia probably isn't a viable win con as this is clearly not a mill centric deck, but free sacrificing of Elementals is always a plus.
• Phyrexian Altar makes mana and kills elementals. I was torn between this and Ashnod's Altar , but the color seemed important
• Greater Good is great in conjunction with an evoked fatty. Evoke Cloudthresher to do two to fliers, then sac it to Greater Good to draw seven? Yes please.
• Perilous Forays plays nicely with Omnath, Locus of Rage . I pay 1 to do 3 damage and grab a basic land.
• Soulblast isn't technically a sac outlet, but... I do get to sac all of my creatures to it and do a ton of damage. That damage is then increased courtesy of Omnath.

Cards I'm Aware of, but Avoided

• Omnath, Locus of Mana . He's too angry to have time to store mana
• Oracle of Mul Daya Elemental only, please.
• Azusa, Lost but Seeking see above. (Same goes for any non elemental creature). I made one non elemental exception for Rakka Mar and even that I'm not too happy about.
