An evolution of my previous deck, Elspeth's Legion, which started out as Boros aggro and ended up having a bit of an identity crisis.

Main goal is to get Purphoros, God of the Forge out with either Elspeth, Sun's Champion or Assemble the Legion to start hitting your opponent with burn every turn with Purphoros.

Ash Zealot , Chandra's Phoenix , and Boros Reckoner all contribute solid devotion to Purphoros, on top of being great cards all their own.

Fanatic of Mogis adds some more burn, taking advantage of the red-heavy permanents. 5+ damage is easy to do by the time he comes out.

And Brimaz, King of Oreskos is just a great card on its own, but his ability helps as a token generator for Purphoros burn. Iroas, God of Victory is just another badass card too.

Banishing Light and Chained to the Rocks are both their for bigger removal, as well as planeswalkers for the former, and Magma Jet deals with little dudes and helps set up my draws. Boros Charm is mostly there for burn, but too versatile not to have.

The sideboard's almost entirely added removal, except Aegis of the Gods against burn, and Rest in Peace against reanimator.

This is still a work in progress, though, and any feedback is appreciated.

Went 1-3 at FNM the other day. Deck obviously needs some more work.

First round was against my buddy's America control deck. Both games I was hitting him pretty hard with Ash Zealot and Chandra's Phoenix along with some burn, but wasn't able to finish him before he could pull out Sphinx's Rev to stabilize and get Elspeth out to seal the deal. (I handily beat him in a casual game before FNM started, but oh well)

Second round played a Boros burn with splash blue. First game was close, with Eidolon of Countless revels burning us both down, but he manages to get some lifegain in with Warleader's Helix and finish me off. Second game I sideboarded in Aegis of the Gods, but didn't really need it. Saved my Magma Jets for the Eidolon and Guttersnipe and clinched it. Last game he got mana-screwed hard and never had a chance.

Last two rounds were both against Selesnya aggro. Both games against the first guy he got multiple Fleecemanes on the board and I wasn't drawing anything to deal with them, even after sideboarding removal Glare and Mizzium Mortars. Same thing for the second guy, but with Brimaz thrown in.

Any suggestions for this would be great, I feel like I mostly just need to hit harder, earlier. This deck is pretty fast, but doesn't deal huge amounts of damage early on. Thinking maybe a few Ogre Battledrivers, but I dunno what I'd take out.
