This deck is something I've made that kinda blew my mind. I was reading the rulebook for Mtg and I came across this keyword, "Aura Swap." So I gotta know what it is.

This deck uses Arcanum Wings as the base card. Note it is two mana to drop and three to swap. This means that on turn 4 you could put an Eldrazi Conscription onto a Blighted Agent and deal 11 infect damage.

Ok some things have changed...

Well its been a while since my last update on this deck and a few things have changed. With the Ban⚒ of Gitaxian Probe and Simian Spirit Guide, this deck took a huge hit. I am at the point where I need to seriously revamp the card list for this deck. I want to change how the mana generation is and as well I might be able to make this actually modern viable and confident enough to take to torneys.

The first thing I need to do is revamp the color. This deck is supposed to be mono blue, but that really puts a dampener on things. I think that branching into a couple more colors is exactly the right step to take.

Win Condition Fixed

Eldrazi Conscription is the win condition, but we need to make sure that it doesnt rely on "These 7" cards to win.

Arcanum Wings + Blighted Agent is the first combo that can give us the win, but its not the only combo.

Academy Researchers + Tainted Strike is the second best combo, except the downside is that it will require another turn to make sure that you can win confidently.

Support

Obviously this deck is pretty vulnerable, but hopefully in a 3 round game, the first round will easily be ours. After the first is when the trouble hits. Because of this, I've added a few support spells for us and our creatures.

Peek is obviously a good choice primarily to understand what we're going up against. We need to be able to predict how they are going to react to your spells once cast and Peek makes that a little bit easier.

Spell Pierce is the only counterspell that we have in the deck. As much as I love counterspelling, it takes up a lot of room in the deck, so I've only opted for that.

Apostle's Blessing is the last support card we have in the deck. It will help make sure that your creatures/auras are safe from destruction once on the field.
