Enter the 36 Chambers (Monk Tribal EDH)

Commander / EDH* Budget Monk Prowess RUW (Jeskai, America)

Mintron

Maybeboard

First iteration of Monk Tribal. I have no idea how it'll hold up in gameplay. The idea though is to get monks with prowess out, and then chain a bunch of cheap cantrips to buff up the team. Quite a bit of protection spells (indestructible, protection from chosen color), but not very many counterspells. Also, very little removal, because I want the focus of the deck to revolve around the monks interacting with stuff. If it turns out that not having Lightning Bolt in sucks, I'll throw in lightning bolt.

Going more for flavor than for cEDH. And also trying to keep this budget, so for the most part, flavor is better anyways.

I'm currently trying to go for a prowess/cantrip theme, rather than relying on the typical tribal artifacts like Coat of Arms and Door of Destinies, but I will probably end up dropping those in.

Edit 8/18/21: I finally dropped the list down to 100, and it's probably ass. But if it's fun to play I'll still keep it. Sensei's Top is proxied, ain't no way I'm dropping $60 to play it in this jank ass deck.

Edit 8/19/21: Played with the ratios a little bit, I feel like I didn't have enough lands. Also, removed some "expensive" cards like the Izzet Strixhaven cards. Why is a standard, in-print uncommon $7? Damn.
