This is a deck I've been working on as an FNM type deck. It works nicely though I am always open to suggestions. I have done some research from other similar deck styles and would like some opinions. I enjoy two-color decks not a huge fan of three or more colors. (I'm not an amazing player, about average though.)

The object of this deck (as well as most aggro type decks) is to have an opening hand consisting of 1-2 Forest, 1 Sunpetal Grove, an Arbor Elf or Avacyn's Pilgrim, a Silverblade Paladin 1 Rancor and a Strangleroot Geist.

Turn 1: Drop Forest and an Arbor Elf.

Turn 2: Drop Sunpetal Grove tap Forest and Sunpetal Grove to play Strangleroot Geist tap Arbor Elf to play Rancor on Strangleroot Geist and attack with 4/1 Trample

Turn 3: You will most likely have drawn either a creature and a spell or a land and a creature. Play your land then drop your Silverblade Paladin pair it with your Strangleroot Geist and attack with your 4/1 Trample, Double-Strike!

Turn 4: By now if all went well (assuming your opponent is not playing aggro) you have them down to 8 health. Its time to finish the job. Play your land, you should have a Sublime Archangel or an Ajani, Caller of the Pride either way your golden. If Sublime Archangel is in your hand play it and attack with your Strangleroot Geist which with Exalted effects is now an 8/5 Trample, Double-Strike. Unless they have removal for it the game is yours. If Ajani, Caller of the Pride is present in your hand then may you have mercy on their soul. Play it, if opponent has a flier on the field use the +1 ability to make your Strangleroot Geist a 5/2 and attack with it. At that point you are forcing your opponent to block or be defeated. If they have no fliers on the field but an army of creatures to chump block with, use the -3 ability to make your Strangleroot Geist flying and attack with a 4/1 Flying, Trample, Double-Strike to seal the deal.

Look ma! No hands!

If all doesn't go to plan then you have a pretty solid sideboard to win the next match up. Thank you for checking out my deck and I hope you enjoyed reading it.
