Sideboard

For those if you who may not know.. Esper decks really focus on stalling until turn 5,6,7 where u can start chain-casting revelations, drop elspeth and aetherlings. sphinxs rev is not a win condition but will usually get u one late game. This deck plays pretty heavy on the counterspells, I'm running syncopate instead of doom blade for a few reasons, one of which is so you can counter burning tree emisary and stop them from playing something else into it.

This is my plan for fighting different matchups

Vs Mono blue +2 gainsay +1 nightveil specter +1 elixir of immortality -2 syncopate -2 Azorius charm

Vs Mono red +1 Pithing needle - 1 Azorius charm

Vs Gruul (devotion to green) +3 thoughtseize +1 pithing needle -3 Azorius charm -1 aetherling

Vs Mono black +4 thoughtseize +2 blood baron of vizkopa +1 pithing needle -3 Azorius charm -2 hero's downfall -1 supreme verdict -1 cyclonic rift

Vs Mirror match +4 thoughtseize +3 sin collector +2 blood baron of vizkopa +2 gainsay +1 Nightveil specter +1 elixir of immortality +1 pithing needle -4 Azorius charm -4 supreme verdict -4 syncopate -2 Detention sphere

Vs Boros Let it be.. Let it be.. Let it be..Ya. Let it be.. Speaking words of wisdom.. Let it be.....Oooh hoo
