So control is fun, and Esper does it so well! This deck aims to basically control the opponent's board until you play a win condition. In this case, they're Elspeth, Sun's Champion and AEtherling. The rest of your deck keeps you alive or provides alternate forms of advantage while your opponent sits across the table, rolling their eyes or cursing you under their breath.

This deck was originally made for standard, but fell apart upon the release of KTK, so I moved it to the Modern hub and forgot about it. There are no doubt better options to make the eck better, but i don't feel like changing it to actually fit Modern meta. Modern control decks are usually Jeskai anyway.

Although Wizards is currently depriving control of good tools in Standard, I'm sure there will be esper control options in the future.
