Sorcery (3)

Welcome again, here we have another deck custom made my yours truly. It's an Esper Superfriends deck, with many surprises in store. Let's take a look...

AEtherling - Fantastic versatility, where you pump, swing, make unblocable, shift, repeat. Just fantastic.

Obzedat, Ghost Council - Drain 2 life from your opponent each turn? Yes, please. Also, a decent attacker, and his shifting tendencies keeps him safe on your opponent's turn.

Jace, Architect of Thought - A very nice Jace card. Helps you get out your own planeswalkers while allowing you to pick what you want out of your opponent's deck(s). The only problem is he takes 4 turns to charge up, and might be replaced with another win-con in Jace, Memory Adept.

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad - Very awesome! Adds in chump blocking vampires with lifelink, and his ultimate just allows you to take whatever your opponent has, including his/her own planeswalkers.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage - A nice addition to the deck, allows you to tap down things, a nice draw engine, and her ultimate allows unlimited spells and creatures as long as you have the mana for it.

Venser, the Sojourner - A nice, underused planeswalker. He can accelerate your Obzedat, Ghost Council, make your AEtherling and Obzedat both unblockable, and the ultimate removal emblem as his ultimate.

Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver - Very nice milling, with her 2nd ability making her a little expendable. Her ultimate is just cruel disruption, but shouldn't be used until you peek at your opponent's hand with Duress.

Ajani Steadfast - Very nice planeswalker acceleration, and if he can stay out long enough, he ensures almost complete protection for your other planeswalkers. His creature buffing on his -2 is useless, since when they shift, your creatures lose all counters since they leave the battlefield. His +1, however, works very nicely with Venser, the Sojourner , and could possibly mean you don't need to shift AEtherling at the end of combat.

Counterspell - Only the best of all counter-spells should be used for this deck, which means the namesake of them all, Counterspell, is necessary. Counter ANY spell for only 2 mana? Yes, please.

Extirpate - Gets rid of pesky things in your opponent's everything, works very well with Duress.

Deicide - Anti-God stuff, because Athreos, God of Passage and Mogis, God of Slaughter are things.

Duress - Cheap Thoughtseizes, because an extra $80 would prevent any chance of me actually making this deck in reality. Chains very well with Extirpate

Supreme Verdict - Boardwipe, just be sure to shift your creatures first.

Hero's Downfall - Kill your opponent's planeswalkers, unless you plan on saving them for Sorin, Lord of Innistrad .

Sphinx's Revelation - So much cards and life, much like.

Azorius Charm - 3 things in one; Gain life very easily, draw engine, or bouncer.

Sideboard Explained -

Pithing Needle - Standard sideboard tool, knocks out many essential components to opponents' decks.

Terminus, Wrath of God - extra board wipes just in case your opponent is playing a weenie deck.

Ajani Steadfast - An extra back-up.

The Chain Veil - PERFECT for a superfriends deck.

Detention Sphere - Very decent removal, backs up Deicide in case your opponent is running a lot of Gods or other indestructible creatures (I'm looking at you, Avacyn, Angel of Hope...)

Jace, Memory Adept - Might be replacing Jace, Architect of Thought. If so, replace this entry with the Architect.

Cloudshift - In case your opponent Pithing Needles your AEtherling.

Please, +1s and comments, please.
