Have you ever played a deck that is as refreshing as a wrecking ball swinging through a shop full of china and glassware? Or as fierce and sudden as a fireball that’s just missed your face by inches? This deck brings back my joy in everything I love about EDH and my playgroups. Whether it’s with lifetime old friends testing fun commanders or the slightly more competitive mates in your LGS, Etali’s powerful roar blasts the rust and dust off your EDH game in its mono-red rampage.

It’s not a powerful deck by any means. There are quite probably 60 cards that could improve its ability to bring down even the biggest foe, but it does just enough. And it does it with cheeky and charismatic aplomb. With Etali, Primal Storm heading the charge fearlessly, this deck seizes everything from others, but in return gives back plenty in laughter. Its unpredictability is new, shocking, exciting every game. No matter what you spin on the roulette that is Etali, you wind up stealing people’s hearts.

And when it all boils down to the soul of this game, why not end it with hysterical, maniacal laughter from all parties??
