...For the longest time

I've tried to create an artifact deck with all five colors in its identity. Mirrodin, my favorite plane, was always kept in mind with its colorful machinery and bizarre ecology. For quite a while I've achieved my goal of a perfect, quite strong, colored-artifact themed deck. With charge counters and proliferation as its main gimmick, sadly that list had to be dismantled with the recent banning of Golos.

After some time taking it in, I agreed with the decision stating that he was an unhealthy commander for the format. It was a bit painful for me, who wanted to keep it thematic and creative. But yes, that decklist did have many ridiculously mana-expensive cards just because the commander allowed it. And then I found more slots to make Golos stronger, and after some time... It was just another Golos deck. Yes, it had many weird artifacts and some odd proliferation, but... It's all just Golos isn't it?

This deck takes the original dream and takes it to a newer approach. Using cards I love to see and use, and keeping in mind my number one goal, which is to not interfere with anyone's board, just staying on my own road of value grinding, responding to any death threats and whatever comes my way, until the Reactor can finish what it was made for.

My Golos deck was one of my proudest builds ever. It could be strong without shutting anyone off the map, just racing against the clock and getting its own snowball to crush everything. This deck is very similar in this aspect, maybe with some extra answers since it may be a bit slower.

This list is relatively new and lacks playtest. Changes may occur.

  • Why the illegal partner Commanders... that don't even have the proper color identity?

Well... I guess nowdays the only legal option of a five-color artifact commander is Ramos, and I'm really not a big fan, sorry. He's a big dumb mana rock, and building five-color artifact decks really doesn't ask for more mana rocks. Not to mention, look at those two. C'mon. They're the freaking best.
