Ajani's Pridemate
+ Eidolon of Countless Battles + protection spell for the win con.
Fabled Hero + Eidolon of Countless Battles + protection spell for another win con.
Either
Ajani's Pridemate
or Fabled Hero +
Spectra Ward
for another win con.
This is a budget deck so please don't suggest Brimaz, King of Oreskos.
MAINBOARD:
Creatures:
Ajani's Pridemate
: The deck is centered around this card. It gets big fast.
Eidolon of Countless Battles: My win-con. Bestow this card on
Ajani's Pridemate
or Fabled Hero to swing for a lot of damage.
Nyx-Fleece Ram
: This stops aggro and burn while making my
Ajani's Pridemate
bigger every turn.
Seeker of the Way
: This card is amazing. The prowess and lifelink work well together to give me a ton of life.
Fabled Hero: This card does a lot of work. He is a great card to give protection to.
Heliod's Pilgrim: This lets me tutor out an aura that I need for the situation I am in.
Enchantments:
Banishing Light: Best removal option for white decks in standard.
Chosen by Heliod
: This provides card draw as well as putting a creature outside the range of Bile Blight or Anger of the Gods.
Spectra Ward
: This makes a creature practically unstoppable unless my opponent has a board wipe sitting around.
Ordeal of Heliod
: This gives me a lot of life and buffs up my creatures. It is especially good on Fabled Hero.
Planeswalkers:
Ajani Steadfast: He buffs up a creature quite well. His -2 gives my army a little boost.
Instants:
Gods Willing: Protects my creatures from removal and also will allow for an unblockable
Ajani's Pridemate
bestowed with Eidolon of Countless Battles.
Feat of Resistance: Protection, evasion, and a +1/+1 counter.
SIDEBOARD:
Aegis of the Gods
: I am looking at you discard and burn!
Devouring Light: I side these in when I play against a creature heavy deck.
Revoke Existence
: Go away Ensoul Artifact, Athreos, God of Passage, and Purphoros, God of the Forge.
Tormod's Crypt: Reanimator decks are a thing now you know.
Hushwing Gryff
: Says no to Siege Rhino, Hornet Queen, Wingmate Roc, need I say more?
MY CONCERNS FOR THIS DECK:
