AS THERE EXISTS A LOT OF REANIMATOR DECKS I CREATED ONE WITH SOME UNSEEN/UNCOMMON REANIMATE COMBOS.
+1 IF YOU LIKE THIS NEW BLEND OF REANIMATION AND IF YOU HAVE ONE YOURSELF =)
Let's begin with the possible T1 WIN:
Win-Condition: Maelstrom Wanderer and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight swing for a total amount of 24 damage during your first turn.
- Either you have those two cards on your hand and discard them with Putrid Imp and you Reanimate them with only one Dark Ritual
or
- Two Dark Ritual then you go for a Buried Alive and bring those two into play with two Reanimate
tadaaaaa!
CHECK OUT THESE UNCOMMON/UNSEEN REANIMATOR COMBOS:
Aurelia, the Warleader -> best card ever together with Griselbrand in T2 you give 20 damage, get 14 lifes and draw 14 cards....wtf!!?? =)
Sun Titan -> together with Necromancy and Animate Dead you can reanimate for free whenever he attacks or comes into play because those are permanents with mana costs 3 or less... wtf!!?? =)
Necromancy -> you can respond at instant speed to gravehate or anything else. Emrakul, Aeons Torn with extra turn? Well I think I am going to exile him with Angel of Serenity at instant speed on your 2nd turn along with two other creatures, or would you prefere I exile him permanently with Ashen Rider... wtf!!?? x)
Living Death -> when it comes to late game (let's say 4th turn is late game for reanimator decks) you will completely destroy your enemy's game once it resolves. It kills everything no matter if shroud, indestructible, protection from colors or whatever and you will put some real threats from your grave onto the battlefield. Note: you will get like 5-7 creatures onto the battlefield this way and they got haste from Maelstrom Wanderer.
Massacre Wurm -> some further beatdown creature that kills annoying stuff like Scavenging Ooze, Deathrite Shaman and so on... It is also very handy in combination with Living Death For instance you have two of them and a Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite enter the battlefield. This will give -6/-6 to all creatures your opponents control and per creature that hits the graveyard it will deal 4 damage to them. Note that Living Death forces your opponents to put their creatures from the grave onto the battlefield as well x)
Maelstrom Wanderer -> better than Urabrask the Hidden as he has grater power and defense
Angel of Serenity -> gives very good control over the enemy board
Avacyn, Angel of Hope -> flying, vigilance, indestructible... what else? =)
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight -> makes your creature deal twice the amount of the usual damage and therefore makes big pressure on your opponent
Sheoldred, Whispering One -> reanimates for free, it destroys creatures that have shroud, protection from colors or are indestructible
Rune-Scarred Demon -> tutors whatever kicks asses... for instance Thoughtseize
Overall it is a mass reanimate/beatdown deck. There's also some anti-control like Thoughtseize and
Cabal Therapy
but mostly this deck is about punching real damage in your opponents face.
cheers, Noc
