Sideboard

Sorcery (8)

Welcome to my attempt to dodge price jumps. I can see Gorgons being somewhat big once Pharika hits the Meta with even more stony bitches. This is my way of losing friends and going for gold in one deck!

Creatures- What deck doesn't have em? Ok, a fair amount of them, but that's not how I play. Granted, this is a creature-thin build (for me), but the ones I do have are all-stars together. Let's meet em!

Sedge Scorpion- This little bugger has the potential to stall a game when played at the right time. Just what I need!

Reaper of the Wilds- Scry every time one of my creatures hits a blocker/attacker? I'll take it! Hexproof helps too, since people like removing threats. And besides, why pass up on a 4/5 4-drop?

Keepsake Gorgon- Removal and blocking for the most part. Solid defender.

Korozda Gorgon- Really just here as a body double for Keepsake and will probably be evicted after more Gorgons come out.

Hythonia the Cruel- The Queen on the Throne of Granite Heroes. She board wipes for the win, or just sits there as a threat of instant speed board wipe.

Spells- These little treats are the essentials for decks that want to win. Creatures are easily dispatched, spells are harder to get rid of. Let's see what's in my goodie bag, shall we?

Fog- It does it all! It protects Vraska, saves me from huge charges, piss's off my opponent, and let's me stall for however long I need. All for one Sideways Forest!

Defend the Hearth- As if Fog wasn't enough! Now I am letting my Gorgons hit for deathtouch while not taking any hits from the unblocked.

Doom Blade Great value for its ability, and let's me scry if Reaper is on the field.

Hero's Downfall- Anti-whatever-I-fucking-want. Too bad I only have one and am poor.

Fade into Antiquity- For those pesky Gods, and the Awaken the ancients that seem way too popular in my local Meta.

Golgari Charm- This decks SAK. I can add on some damage to my opponents creatures, make Master of Waves useless, get rid of any enchantments I see, or block with everything without fear (Even Sedgie!!!)

Pharika's Cure- Kill a creature and gain life? Way too mainstream. Pharie's worshippers are great for pumping my health when my opponents are lacking in the board state department.

Lastly, we have Vraska the Unseen. She is amazing. She protects herself so I don't have to worry too much, gets rid of anything that isn't a land (Walkers, blockers, and enchantments), and gives me a cool win-con.

So that's my deck. Pretty much, creatures defend while one or two swing, spells let me live long enough to see them drop, and Vraska is a contingency plan.

Thanks for reading, any and all feedback is helpful, and don't forget to +1 if you like (or really, really hate) my Gorgons.

Updates Add

So I fell yet again to the Izzet Burn deck, this time closer. I am thinking about adding discard to this deck, as sideboard. Weigh in on this please!

In other news, I bought 3 backs and pulled a Golgari Guildgate and an Overgrown Tombfoil, I'm going to try and get more, but for all intents and purposes this deck is done.
