Sideboard

This is my first deck, all about building creatures. I built this version for a turn four kill. Kor Spiritdancer and a lot of one drop auras, including Utopia sprawl, adds a lot of pump and card draw. She'll be swinging with 4 auras on her by turn 3, 8 auras by turn four.

The book on auras is they are inefficient, through 2 for 1s, if your creature gets killed. That's why I chose Kor Spiritdancer and tutors, rather than different creatures. She's insanely efficient.

I've filled this deck with the cards that, over the years, Magic has tried to compensate for this. I'm stacked with protection from colours, hexproof, umbras, returning auras like Rancor, and cards like Bruna, Light of Alabaster, who almost invites people to destroy Kor Spiritdancer, so Bruna can hit the board and swing for lethal.

"Be careful what you wish for".

Sovereigns of Lost Alara and Rafiq are two creatures I just couldn't resist, as Lords. Rather than tutor up the perfect aura, I've gone for just spewing them out in bunches and seeing what happens.
