To start im trying to keep this deck standard per M14 release so any suggestions keep in mind that this deck is being prepaid for next block not the current M13 block
Much like the title states this deck is about Fatal Decisions obviously for your opponent and not you backing them into a corner forcing them to do things that will cost them life, turns and put them on the offensive as Rakdos decks play on the offensive side.
i am not sold on alot of cards i have chosen other then my spells im pretty happy with them im kind struggling with creatures some of them i just choose to fill in space the format on this deck i was aiming for was 20 creatures 20 spells 40% land leaving me with a 69 card deck atm which also is not final id like to drop the spells down to around 16 maybe by the time this deck is finished but im still waiting to see what M14 is going to bring me so i can revise and possibly squeeze more control in
lord of riots and master of cruelties are just really cool cards i had i thought would be cool to put into a deck not sure if there really whats best thought with all the control i have thought if i play my cards right getting them out is almost sure win i feel they both bring a lot to the table
lord of riots is a very solid 4 drop 6/6 with flying trample and making its faster for me to pump out other creatures and making my opponent lose life is with all this control is simple making him easy to cast
master of cruelties 5 drop 1/4 first strike deathtouch need i say more thats just the start then he has his ability that is a game ender not a card id like to see in my opening hard which makes me consider if hes really worth working around but in a long game drawing him a few turns in or even later he could turn a game around real quick if i hit him with something like madcap skills even attacking alone hes a beast and with the control in my spells i bring to the table getting that hit in to drop my opponent to 1 health seems like a good move but i dont know i want some second thoughts
some filler creature to me are [rix maadi guildmage] which i added to give me something to spend mana on assuming i had nothing else to use it with seeing as i have no instants having a mana dump is useful thrill [kill assassin] was just a hey what they hell why not you fit the profile of the deck and have deathtouch ughh who else [hellhole flailer] another mana dump and direct damage a good combo and of course lord of riots and master of cruelties are up in the air
