Aerial Superiority in a U/W shell. We have a lot of solid fliers solidly in the middle of standard at the moment, but I only ever see Glorybringer.
So I wanted to figure out a way to change that. This list is more midrange'y, so it will struggle somewhat with hardcore aggro or burn lists, however with the early sustain of both Aerial Responder and Glory-Bound Initiate you should be able to make it into the mid-game where you will start having a stronger presence.
Between all of the exile effects from Angel of Condemnation as well as Angel of Sanctions you should have a good way of removing large threats your opponent carries. Glyph Keeper provides an excellent, resilient body body against both control and burn decks.
Angel of Invention speaks for itself as a wonderful anthem on a flier and Gideon, Martial Paragon while an odd choice, I feel fits this deck wonderfully. The +1/+1 from his ability can really stack up in a meta that doesn't have much flying protection, and the untap is very useful for times where you really don't want to wait out the two turn exert clock on your Angel of Condemnation.
And last but not least, the enchantment that really ties it all together, Favorable Winds. A truly underappreciated two-drop, this card can turn already decent flying creatures into a serious death clock, and with so little in the form of enchantment removal at the moment, you don't need to worry about whether it will survive to matter.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
