This deck uses lots of instants and sorceries to pump up Kiln Fiend and Swiftblade Vindicator, whilst Feather brings back all of those lovely nonpermanents to rerun the goodness. It's amazing how many players ignore a power-1 creature moving in to attack that suddenly pumps to 16+ damage in one hit. Sudden Breakthrough is also key, because that extra treasure often lets you squeeze out an extra spell to build the Fiend, plus first strike :) !
