Felisa Makes a Megaton Of Tokens

The deck has a few ways to win, but the general idea remains the same:

Get Felisa out, put a bunch of counters on something, kill that something, make a huge explosion of inklings. Corpse Knight or Ayara sees this explosion and realizes it's defying quarantine and will get so angry that they machine gun the entire table.

That's Cool, How Do You Do That?

Alright time for the nitty-gritty. It's a cool game plan, but how does the Magic happen?

Here's the fastest and easiest way to do this:

  • Felisa + Phyrexian Devourer + Corpse Knight/Ayara

Activate Devourer and resolve each ability one at a time until it hits 7 power. Then, once the sac trigger is on the stack, activate the ability as many times as you like until it has enough counters to kill the table. Resolve the stack, exiling a megaton of cards, but also getting a fat Devourer and resolving the sacrifice trigger. Felisa will see Devourer die and make that many inklings, which will then trigger Corpse Knight/Ayara.

Fun combo right? But what happens if we can't go for that?

  • Felisa + Nether Traitors + Phyrexian Altar + Cathar's Crusade

Once Nether Traitor is on the board with a counter on it, you can sacrifice it to the Altar, making 1 black mana. This will make an inkling, which then triggers Cathar's. While Cathar's trigger is on the stack, you can sacrifice the inkling to make another black mana, triggering Nether Traitor, which you can pay and have it enter the battlefield. This will create another Cathar's trigger. You can let the triggers resolve now, putting 2 +1/+1 counters on everything. You can then sacrifice Nether Traitor to restart the loop. Each loop can either increase your counters by 1 or create an inkling.

The only issue with this loop is that you need a way to kill with it. Either you perform it on someone's end step for infinite inklings/power or you use an aristocrat to kill the table.

But the most fun combo in this deck is this:

  • Felisa + Black Sun's Zenith + Suncleanser + Corpse Knight/Ayara

If at any time, after you resolve Black Sun's Zenith, you have more counters than a player's life, you can kill someone with this combo.

Play Corpse Knight or Ayara, then play Suncleanser targeting Corpse Knight/Ayara. After that, cast Black Sun's Zenith for whatever it takes to create more counters than a player's life. For example, if your opponent has 20 life and you have 4 creatures on the board (including Suncleanser), then X will have to equal 5 to create 20 inklings.

Your creatures will all die to BSZ, which will trigger Felisa and she'll make as many inklings as you have counters. Remember, +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters will only cancel out when the next state based actions are checked, which is also when all the creatures are removed. This means, Felisa will see both counters on the creatures for her triggers and create that many inkling tokens. Since Suncleanser prevents you from putting counters on Corpse Knight/Ayara, they'll live through BSZ, see the Inklings ETB, then machine gun the table.

Alright one more combo.

  • Felisa + Nim's Deathmantle + Any creature that ETBs with counters + Ashnod's Altar

Sacrifice the creature to Ashnod's Altar, triggering Felisa and Nim's and creating two colorless mana. Resolve the Felisa trigger first, to make inkling(s). Sacrifice the inkling to Ashnod's for two more colorless mana. Then resolve the Deathmantle trigger. You can now pay the 4 mana and bring that original creature back which will enter with counters so you can restart the loop again. This gives infinite deaths, but also infinite colorless mana if the creature enters with more than 1 counter.

You'll still need an outlet with this combo through any aristocrat or Blasting Station.

But What If Felisa Is Dead?

No worries, just use these combos instead:

  • Persist Creature + Cathar's Crusade + Blasting Station

Sacrifice a persist creature to Blasting Station, this puts a persist trigger on the stack. Resolve it, bring the creature back, trigger Cathar's Crusade. Resolve the trigger to put a counter on the persist creature, then after state-based actions, sacrifice it to Blasting Station to deal 1 damage to a target and triggering Persist again.

This should create infinite damage and infinite death.

  • Suncleanser + Blasting Station + Luminous Moth

Sacrifice Suncleanser to Blasting Station, this creates a trigger through Luminous Moth. Bring the Suncleanser back through the moth, then resolve Suncleanser's trigger to remove the flying counter. You can then sacrifice Suncleanser again to blasting station and bring it back through the moth.

Final Thoughts

This deck is fun, but damn does it take some time to set up. I'm open to any suggestions to help stream line this deck.
