This deck was initially build around Demonic Rising.

I already went through all formats and could have used other useful cards like Bob, Abyssal Persecutor, Xathrid Demon, Mark of the Oni, Blood Speaker, Momentous Fall, Argothian Enchantress, Culling of the Weak and other stuff, but i felt like making a Standard deck.

The idea behind it is to summon cheap, huge creatures so you have good chances of drawing cards with Triumph of Ferocity.It has many sac outlets, so if you got two or more creatures you can get rid of them for mostly good use and get a 5/5 flying Demon token from Demonic Rising, which itself will then continuously provide you a sac outlet for Xathrid Demon. Err wait. No. Wrong format...

The Treacherous Pit-Dwellers can either get their usual treatment with Torpor Orb, or can be sacced immediately after their first death with Altar's Reap or Culling Dais.

Hex Parasite goes quite nicely with him and the other Undying creatures (Young Wolf, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed or Geralf's Messenger), especially since this means i can pay 1P instead of saccing a creature. And i can also transform Garruk Relentless with it.And of course i can always use it against my opponent's (loyality) counters.

Garruk, the Veil-Cursed   is great to get one of the six-drops.

Memnite, Mortarpod and Postmortem Lunge all seemed great with Demonic Rising, but i didn't include them in this current version.
