I've had a modern Haakon Loam deck collecting dust. Buying more than 1 ofs for the mana base sucked ass, and in a fast format like that it was difficult to keep up. Since I've seen/piloted that list, I've been enamored with it to the point that I want to port it to EDH so that I can play it frequently. The newest commander decks propelled me to build this, and despite the heavy land interaction, red felt unnecessary. I would rather LD the pod one at a time than Valakut them for obscene amounts. Blue has some interesting knights for Haakon to abuse. I wish Sidar Kondo would be the general but do not want to waste the second partner slot on Silas Renn. No real artifact interaction.
