I like Simic in theory, but all I see online is an intense counterfest that all use the same 1/2 a dozen cards. This is my try at a different kind of Simic. Im loving the possibilites with the new Quickling. It's a great creature without its added cost. But making a cards weakness into a strength is a good way to add value to cards. Most of the creatures have a ETB effect. Quickling and ninja git them back to your hand so u can hexproof, draw cards or deathtouch a creature for 2 or 3 mana. Chimera helps with life and is a great flyer. Nulltread provides bounce and is very Stompy. It's easy to see the advantage of having a Ninja, Quickling and a Seer in your hand. The other part of the deck is cheap ass instants. They provide removal and counters on the cheap so you can have enough mana to play your flash creatures. Id like to put a few Essence Wardens in, but IDK. I would love to hear suggestions as Im new to magic. I am also proud of its $ cost and average CMC. Bear in mind that i got Yavimaya Coast ina a 2015 draft with my buddues and this deck becomes at moast a $12 investment. The key to playing this deck is to keep mana back to flach out creatures or instants.

4th nite. Not sure this was a great sampling. had 2 long games, but only 2. I lost both, but more importantly I learned. Big problem was i did not draw a ninja or a Seer all night and their unblockable+card draw is 1/2 the decks aim. Im still learning how to use flash and bounce to save creatures from removal and combat damage. It's just difficult when my draws were so uneven. Decided on trying cloudfin raptor as the flying 1 drop I need to have on the field to play Quickling turn 2. Ill have the cards to try the red/blue version next week. This is really the most complicated ive made. Not sure im good enuff a player too pull this off, but I wont give up.
