Flippin Blue Innistrad!

Casual Delver Mono-Blue

InsipidPariah

Thing in the Ice   Ludevic's Test Subject   and Delver of Secrets   combine into a blue powerhouse of damage.

Chock full of effective instants to draw cards with like Brainstorm and Anticipate I can easily churn to my creatures AND stack the deck for a simple Delver flip. Splash in some counterspells, mizzium skins to keep my creatures safe and creature bounce effects to pacify my opponents bloodlust and baby, you got a soup going!

The sheer amount of low casting cost instants helps me transform Thing in the Ice   fairly quickly, and Ludevic's Test Subject   winds up being the perfect outlet for unused mana before my next turn. Thrummingbird joins the fray to help proliferate more counters onto Ludevic's Test Subject   , and fits in with the theme of horror creatures. Clockspinning works double duty as either a 1 mana spell to remove 2 counters from Thing, or a 1 mana spell to add a counter onto Ludevic's, all with the optional buyback cost to return it to my hand.

In the odd chance that Thing transforms after Ludevic's, I mass bounce the board and have a 13/13 and a 7/8 since they're both horrors.

That's bad news bears for my opponent.
