Angelic Accord deck, so it attempts to gain life in increments of 4.
New addition: Maralen of the Mornsong! In playtesting, I realized I needed to tutor certain cards to keep going or to stop a threat, I was willing to pay life to get those cards and I wanted a way to deal the opponent damage each turn. She does all three!
Absorb Vis
is perfect in here. It ramps you toward other cards, or is an Angelic Accord trigger if you can cast it.
If you feel like attacking with the 4/4 angel you just got, it's nice when
Battlegrace Angel
is on the board because blocking or no blocking, you'll get another 4/4.
Changeling Hero
and
Narrow Escape
help Lone Missionary trigger your Accord again and again. That way you don't have to feel that you shouldn't play Lone Missionary on turn two and waste the 4 life trigger. Also since Narrow Escape is an Instant, it allows you to get an Angel token on the opponent's turn as well. Other ways to do that are blocking with any Lifelinker with a power of 4 or greater, or if
Changeling Hero
dies and reveals the Lone Missionary it was Championing (that's why he's in there), also he's a 4/4 Lifelinker who will get you an Angel token when he does combat damage.
Keep the air free of blockers with
Faith's Fetters
so you can swing with your angel tokens...and it makes another angel token.
Remember
Narrow Escape
saves any permanent, so use it if someone tries to Naturalize your Angelic Accord.
I opted not to include Rest for the Weary because all it does is gain life. The other cards in here do something AND gain the life. But if I have a hard time ramping up to 30 life in this deck to activate the Felidar Sovereign or the Divinity of Pride then I might put it in because 8 is a lot of life.
I wish I could find a place for Sanguine Bond or Exquisite Blood! Especially the latter, because then if your one opponent deals 4+ damage to another opponent, you gain life and get a token for that turn.
