This is a Grixis control deck designed for frontier that loosely emulates modern grixis control, a deck im very fond of but sadly cannot afford. The games I won were against Jeskai Black, Mardu Green, and Grixis Dragons. Grixis Dragons was the only game I failed to 2-0, but ended in a tie. Ill go over things I feel arnt totally self explanatory
3 Kolaghan's Command: Its great against Smugglers copter, ensoul artifact, Hangarback and plenty of other artifact threats. Its very powerful in almost any matchup, recurring our few win cons, shutting down a top decking opponent, and killing Jace, Rabblemaster, and many other low threats while peeling the enemy's hand. Just a great card, and worth splashing red on its own.
Collective Brutality: Not as much to say here, its great against rally and elves. Kill important creatures like Zulaport and take a CoCo or Rally from hand. Also can fuel delve.
Revolutionary Rebuff: Just important to keep opponent off curve. Not a very good card but its sadly necessary. Was running 3 but turned one into a clash of Wills because 3 felt to stifling late game
Sideboard
Duress and dispel are good for control mirror, dispel is also great against any CoCo deck. Lost Legacy should only be brought in for Emrakul, she is a prblem we dont deal with well. Transgress the mind is good for control mirrors and any deck running threats bigger than our removal. Id only bring Transgress in on the play, to be proactive. 2 mana hand hate isnt something we want when we are playing reactive. Summary dismissal against any pesky cast triggers or uncounterable creatures like Surrak or Gaias revenge. Painful truths for any long game, control mirrors and such. Dlord S is great against control or any deck running low removal options. Same goes for Kalitas, hes excellent in any matchup without ready removal. Hes also great against aggro and Rally.
Let me know what you guys think, this is definitely a deck for hard control lovers, with very few win cons and just a total shutdown plan. Comments, suggestions, ideas are all welcome. Thanks for the read.
TL;DR make em mad
