Sideboard

Do you like gaining obscene amounts of life, then using it to pump up your creatures? Do you also like cheap decks that hit above their weight limit? Look no further. This deck is probably the most fun I've had on $25 yet. It can hold its own in 1v1 and really shines in multiplayer games.

Turn your Soul Warden + Soul's Attendant life gain into counters with Ajani's Pridemate + Sunbond .

Deal direct damage via Sungrace Pegasus , Lone Rider  , Sunscorch Regent, and Spectral Procession for over the top aggro. Combine with Spirit Loop as another source of lifegain, especially if your sisters have been removed.

Sunbond on any evasion lifelink creature and watch the counters pile up. Play a Spectral Procession for late game pumps with multiple sisters out. It That Rides as One   for trample goodness when flying is blocked. Finish the game with a Pentarch Ward on a creature with counters

Sunscorch Regent is an obvious play as a mid range pumper that doesn't rely on life gain. Gets especially nasty in multiplayer games, and has flying and life gain to boot! Also survives Lightening Bolt because his counter gets added before the damage resolves.

Multiple redundant ways to gain life, multiple ways to gain counters from that life, and multiple ways to deal that counter damage creates a resilient deck that won't break the bank

Example Game

  1. Turn 1 - Land, Soul Warden
  2. Turn 2 - Land, Ajani's Pridemate and pumps to 3/3, life=21
  3. Turn 3 - Land, Soul's Attendant and Lone Rider   and immediately transforms into It That Rides as One   , Ajani pumps to 6/6, life=24, dmg=7
  4. Turn 4 - Land, Spectral Procession, Ajani pumps to 12/12, life=30, dmg=16
  5. Turn 5 - Spectral Rider pumps Ajani to 14/14, life=32, play Spirit Loop on Ajani, attack for dmg=21. Life pumps by 14 because of Spirit Loop to 46, Ajani's Pridemate pumps to 15/15!

I've had games where I had life and counters into the hundreds. Yes, there are better removal options, and yes, there are some better life gainers out there, but don't underestimate how quickly this deck can hit with big time damage for a fraction of the price

Updates Add

-Spectral Rider to the sideboard, Sungrace Pegasus is in. It's still able to evade with flying, costs the same, but with the added benefit of Lifelink. The more life gaining opportunities this deck has, the better it performs. Serra Angel is also in as a late game finisher with Sunbond and/or Spirit Loop (could be replaced with Archangel of Thune if ever acquired).

-Cather's Crusade is out, Gleem of Authority, Serene Steward, or Cradle of Vitality is in instead. The deck desperately needs more counter production to take advantage of the multiple life gainers, and Crusade is just too hard to generate value after you play it (unless you happen to drop a Spectral Procession afterwards).

-Effective sideboard options have proven to be Pentarch Ward on an Ajani's Pridemate or Lone Rider  Flip.

-The deck obviously struggles against targeted removal on the Sisters, hence the added focus on Lifelink creatures with Sungrace Pegasus. Honor of the Pure is also an option here possibly, but I would need at least 3 Honor's on the field to guard against the most common types of removal. Cradle of Vitality and Gleem of Authority can help guard against removal, but not in the early game.
