Lantern Control is a deck that wins by "locking" its opponents out of drawing win conditions with a combination of
Lantern of Insight
and several mill rocks (
Codex Shredder
,
Ghoulcaller's Bell
,
Pyxis of Pandemonium
). There's a lot of nuance in navigating Lantern lock positions, but to put it simply: Lantern informs you of your opponent's next draw, you figure out whether that card can kill you or not, and if it can, you mill it. This deck wins by doing that every turn until your opponent runs out of cards to draw.
This deck has gotten a reputation of being unfun since there's always a chance of having more game-winning cards on top of your deck than the Lantern deck has mill rocks (which means people "have" to play it out), but I've always found that playing against Lantern is really interesting and dynamic because it attacks on such a unique axis.
