Can this deck be tweaked to compete with Frites/control?

A creature based deck that sits somewhere above current aggro builds in terms of curve, but is faster (hopefully) than most of the big midrange decks around right now.

I played this at a local standard tournament and went 3-0, IDing the last round. I beat a Rakdos Aggro, R/B Zombies and U/W Tempo with Geist of Saint Traft, all 2-0. After splitting first place, I played for fun with the Frites deck i had split the win with, and got stuffed 0-2. I didn't sideboard as we were just playing for fun, but I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I can handle decks going "over the top" in the main deck better. I'm concerned that while my build is pretty good against aggro decks, i'm unlikely to be able to compete with control and reanimator decks.

For next steps, I'm planning to find room for 2x Thragtusk, another Wolfir Silverheart, another Disciple of Bolas and at least 1 Desecration Demon. I 'm also toying with the idea of using Bloodline Keeper  . Any suggestions on what to cut would be gratefully received.

Manabase wise, I'd like to trade up the guildgates for Shocklands and Innistrad duals. I'm not too keen to ditch the Evolving Wilds though, as they have great synergy with Deathrite Shaman.

+1s and comments appreciated.
