I made this deck because one of my friends said that my life-gain deck was OP, and another said that I'm not very aggressive and don't swing very often.He also said that he didn't spend $40 on his deck, which is why he can't keep up with my life gain deck. So I decided to make a cheap OP deck with which they won't ~want~ me to swing with, but I will anyway. Because they don't know the meaning of OP.So here it is.

A $20 deck which can be lowered to $10 by omitting just 1 card, with the easy possibility of getting Eldrazis out by T4/possibility of getting 13 13/13s out on the board by T4.

Playtest it and you'll see what I mean. (hopefully)

----> COMPLAINING ABOUT MY BUDGET <----

I REALLY want to add more Mana Reflection but the card costs $10/card and I'm on a budget after spending $50 on my Seraphim life gain deck. Can you imagine, though, 2 Mana Reflections out on the board? drools

Without Mana Reflection, though, the entire deck would cost $10 - that's just as much as much as any crap official pre-built deck they sell in the stores, and it wouldn't really play that much different from before.

I would also REALLY like to add more Eldrazi, because this was actually supposed to be an Eldrazi deck in the first place, but I scrapped the idea because most of the colourless decks that you see are around $200. I don't have that type of money to spend even if I wanted to, and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is a $30 card - already way too high for my deck.

1 ideal play:

T1: Drop Forest + Llanowar Elves/Fyndhorn Elves

T2: Drop Forest + Llanowar Elves/Fyndhorn Elves + Tap elf + forest to get Priest of Titania

T3: Drop Forest + Mana Reflection + Priest of Titania

T4: Drop Forest + Gelatinous Genesis.

-------> total:

4 mana (forests) + 2 mana (llanowar elves) + 8 mana (priest of titania) = 14 mana * 2 (mana reflection) = 28 mana to play Gelatinous Genesis

13 13/13's on the board by T4... Or we can wait longer and keep ramping up our mana, with Elvish Archdruid... And it'll be even more OP in a few turns. We can also get out Joraga Treespeaker and level her up to 5 easily in 1 turn and then all of our Llanowar Elves and Fyndhorn Elves can be tapped for 2 mana instead of 1. And should they counter Gelatinous Genesis, I have 4 in the deck, so whatever, that means it's just more mana-ramping time!

So yea... this puts my old life-gain Avacyn deck to shame ;__;

---> COMPLAINING ABOUT CARD PLAYABILITY <---

I really want to add Oracle of Mul Daya because it would be nice to be able to put down 2 lands per turn, but if I don't have lands in my hand/on the top of my deck, then she's just cluttering my deck. Besides, I have many ways of mana gain already -- and she's situational.

And like my friend always says: for a 40 card deck, if it's situational, it's not going in.

I really want to add Scorned Villager   because I have a head-canon ship of her and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, the center of my life gain deck, seraphim, but she just costs too much for my early mana ramp - I'd rather be playing Priest of Titania for 2CMC, and I am going to be playing 2+ spells per turn if I can, so I probably can't use her +GG transformed ability much. I might consider buying a few of her anyway just to use as my ooze tokens because i'll be needing a lot of them lol.

Updates Add

UPDATE: added some actual damage, instead of just mana-ramp. +4Gelatinous Genesis,

+1Wurmcalling,

+1 Pathrazer of Ulamog,

+1 Ulamog's Crusher,

+2 Deadly Recluse

The Gelatinous Genesis is what i am aiming for to end the game, because as soon as I get 15 mana, (EASY with this deck) that's 7 7/7's out on the board. Not to mention I have 4 of them in the deck, and it's a 40 card deck, so the chance of getting one is 1/10....

But to hold it off, I have Wurmcalling (which I can play starting at 6 mana for a measly 2/2 but can have the card in my hand over and over), and just some Pathrazer of Ulamog and Ulamog's Crusher...

The thing I worry most about is my friend's flying lifelink deathtouch Vampire Nighthawk which worries me to no end, which is why I have a few Deadly Recluses thrown in there as well - just to deal with flying. Plus, no one really wants to start swinging at me first with their beefies because I've got that deathtouch.

(and then when they wait, it'll be too late... oh ho ho ho)
