"planeswalkers cannot obtain anything without first giving something in return To obtain, mana of equal value must be lost That is magic's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days, I really believed that to be that world's one and only truth." - ghave, guru of spores

ghave is, in a sense, a living embodiment of equivalent exchange and the philosopher stone. he give power in exchange for life, and he give life in exchange for power. however, why stop there, let's be like edward elric and cheat truth.

infinite, that is the keyword and idea of this deck, the point of the deck is to gather the material to create the ultimate transmutation to win the game. the materials are: one counter conduit, one doubling engine, a mana sac engine, a draw or search pylon, and ghave himself. there is a direct way to do this with half of the material but that will be covered at the end.

counter conduit: counter conduit are permanents that gain or give counters in response to a creature entering the battlefield, this provide unlimited amount of raw material to create saproling...as long as you have the mana. some examples are: champion of lambholt, cathar's crusade, ivy lane denizen, or sigil captain.

doubling engine: these cards provide more bang for your bucks, giving you twice as many token or counter for the same cost for the same mana, these cards are: parallel lives, doubling season, primal vigor, and corpsejack menace.

mana/sac engine: this is the most important part of the formula, without these you might as well give up. securing these cards are the top priority of this deck. the mana sac engine: ashnod's altar, and utopia mycon. is what make this deck goes infinite, it let you use ghave as a true philosopher stone, creating an infinite army.

draw and search pylon: these are just for shits and giggle, after achieving the combo, these cards let you put your entire deck at your disposal without any restraint. use the search pylon (jar of eyeballs) when you go infinite to get your draw pylon.
