Ghired & Ravnica's Overpopulation problems

Commander / EDH RGW (Naya)

ClassicCox

Upgraded 2019 Primal genesis precon. This deck has been remodeled many times and the end result is a kinda janky but really fun Naya Token Copy deck.

Not only we have big token producers and the means to get value from those creatures, but we have a lot of effects that create copies of creatures, which we can then populate: having four 5/5 trampling wurm tokens is nice, but having four Tendershoot Dryad on the field will probably win you the game with an army of roided up saprolings if you get to your untap step with them. Assembling the pieces to make tokens of creatures and populating them can take time, so we have classic token producers to populate some big tokens for some smashy smashy value in the early game.

As a form of tutoring, we have Eladamri's Call to go get you the creature you need (Spoiler: it's Tendershoot Dryad, get the goddamn dryad, that thing is so good she's basically the secret commander of this deck. This card appears only in an insulting 16% of Ghired decks on EDHREC and i will not find peace until that number goes way up so help me god. Have i already mentioned that i love Tendershoot Dryad?)

This is by no means an optimized list, but sometimes will get to do some really degenerate stuff like the aforementioned multiple Dryads which produce saproling each upkeep and each Dryad gives them +2+2. God forbid if you manage to stick an Helm of the Host on Ghired because things start getting really out of everyone's control once you do (he can populate himself, which will make more rhinos for the Ghireds entering and the Ghired army will then populate the rhinos and attack with a absurd amount of power on the board, if you have Anointed Procession or Warstorm Surge on the field at this point the table will just burst into flame).

If you have a Primal Genesis precon lying around and you are uninspired with it, you might be interested in trying this build out, it might just get you interested in big dumb token decks again.
