One of Gideon's greatest magics was his golden shield of invertibility. This deck is themed to capture the essence of that through an enchanter package while focusing on the story of Gideon himself. As our main win-con is Approach of the second sun, we want to just have a pillow fort to also have Gideon (and the deck) tank anything our opponents can throw our way. However, when Gideon dies, he's not coming back so we're not running much in terms of recursion. This deck is very themed to highlight the history of Gideon Jura, the planeswalker who wanted to be the hero but always put himself in harm's way without a second thought.
