This is a heavy overhaul of my first EDH deck. In its original form, it was a tribal angel deck but I was very frustrated with out having enough ramp to handle the mana cost of the angels. Also I was stubborn about keeping Gisela the commander instead of Aurelia which was just bad play due to not capitalizing on Gisela's true ability. So instead of making the switch in generals, I changed about 40 cards of the deck. Outside of a few key components and a few favorite angels the deck is completely different.

The landbase was relatively unchanged with the conversion which explains Seraph Sanctuary and a couple others. They are not necessarily bad in this deck, just a bit out of place

With red white I am for the most part reduced to artifact ramp so that where Darksteel Ingot Gold Myr Iron Myr Marble Diamond Fire Diamond Gilded Lotus Astral Cornucopia Everflowing Chalice Sol Ring come into play.

Creature BaseGisela, Blade of Goldnight is to increase damage of the burn spells to make for a short game. She also turns overloaded Mizzium Mortars and the like into board wipes

Stuffy Doll gives me a way to get in extra damage on a particular opponent

Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer I have enough artifacts to turn his metalcraft on, and with gisela on the field it is always good to swing for more.

Akroma, Angel of Wrath Outside of being great, I focus on the protection from red, helps her dodge my burn spells that hit all creatures

Crater Hellion Flipping through some cards and stumbled on this guy, I find it an easy replacement to Inferno Titan which I was not too fond of

Aurelia, the Warleader In case burn spells aren't working, bring in the warleader for another way to get at an opponent.

Charmbreaker Devils Letting my opponent randomly roll for me to get a burn spell back each turn is like russian roulette for them.

Satyr Firedancer Another way to add more damage to an opponent. One game I got Spirit Loop and Indestructibility on him and had some fun

Tajic, Blade of the Legion Indestructible is nice, the batalion trigger is good if we need to go for the attack route.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope Generally this card needs no explanation

Taurean Mauler I have a soft spot for this card. It can get really big really quick and there is nothing wrong with having a 3-drop that turns into a 10/10 or more. In 4 player EDH I think he is a must in a red deck

Utility thingsElixir of Immortality and Feldon's Cane Simple enough, get my cards back in my library

Staff of Nin and Mind's Eye Card draw, tapping the staff for potentially 4 damage or more though is an interesting thought

Darksteel Plate or Akroma's Memorial or Indestructibility or Lightning Greaves These all protect my guys, the Pro-red on the memorial probably being the best here

Loxodon Warhammer or True Conviction or Spirit Loop These just make my guys better in general, fairly straightforward.

Boros Charm This fits in either of the 2 above groups depending on what I need

Some direct removal in Swords to Plowshares or Wear / Tear and Return to Dust. This should take care of what the burn spells can't

Blind Obedience Slows down the opponent and has this nifty extort ability

Invincible Hymn This deck makes me take damage as well. Having a way to gain life is always a good thing

Land Tax Good not to miss a land drop

Enlightened Tutor Helps get missing parts of synergy

Pyromancer's Gauntlet Has a good effect on the deck as a whole

Furnace of Rath The great double-edged sword. Use when necessary, this can come back at you

Reverberate This card serves so many purposes. When playing against green I will almost always keep this hoping they cast and entwined Tooth and Nail This card also helps double a big burn spell just like Increasing Vengeance

Repercussion This and Gisela turn on a lot of triggers. So Gisela doubles damage to the creature, and then doubles it again from Repercussion. If an opponent has 5 creatures and you cast a Sulfurous Blast on your turn it hits the opponent for 60 damage

Legion's Initiative This pumps my guys, as well as gets them out of the way before I cast the above combo, very necessary

Chandra, the Firebrand This combines 3 of the other cards in the deck, it is a nice addition even for the pinging effect

Outside of what I would say are the typical burn spells there are a few that I had to add. Lightning Helix and Warleader's Helix have the small amount of life gain. Aurelia's Fury gives me a way to control an attack step to swing for good damage. Then I have Acidic Soil to hurt ramp decks, as well as Manabarbs and Burning Earth . The nice thing about the enchantments is that with Gisela out they do not hurt me.
