Main goal of the deck is to play Dark Depths and make a Marit Lage token, then recur it and make another one if necessary. Alternatively going infinite with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Woodfall Primus or Puppeteer Clique can also win the game on the spot. In order to get there the deck generates value by sacrificing creatures and lands with The Gitrog Monster, Titania, Protector of Argoth and Ramunap Excavator among other landfall and sac triggers. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth is just here as a beater, there's no dredge combo in this deck by design. Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Jarad, Golgari Lichlord and Fiend Artisan can become huge as well next to prividing all sorts of other utility to the deck.
