This deck is built around lands. Whether or not the lands enter the battlefield is a moot point as The Gitrog Monster gives me card advantage for each land I lose. Sin Prodder becomes a difficult choice with The Gitrog Monster normally the opponent would bin the land for no repercussions but now the choice is between letting me get the land, or letting me get the card draw. With Groundskeeper I get the land anyway for 1G. This provides me with more lands to sacrifice to The Gitrog Monster with all the lands in my hand using Molten Vortex or Magmatic Insight becomes much more efficient, Molten Vortex becomes R: Discard a Land, deal 2 damage to target creature or player, draw a card. While Magmatic Insight becomes discard a land draw 3 cards. This card draw becomes very efficient. In order to reach the later game the early game is filled with removal options such as Ultimate Price and Kozilek's Return. Arlin Kord provides tokens, trample, and removal all at once in order to help cement a lead. All in all the deck is about getting lands in and out of the graveyard in order to maximize the card draw from my one and only The Gitrog Monster.
