This is a tapper deck meant to stall and frustrate your opponent. It obviously works excels against creature decks.

The wincon is Gideon's Avenger aided by a host of tapping spells, creatures and enchantments.

Gideon's Lawkeeper and Niblis of the Breath provide extra tapping abilities, while Heliod's Pilgrim will let you get whichever aura you need at the time. Stonehorn Dignitary will buy you time and provide a decent blocker.

Sleep, Blustersquall and Torrent Elemental are great to get around the hexproof/shroud creatures. Icy Blast is good to keep them tapped an extra turn.

Augury Owl and Temple of Enlightenment allow you to scry for what you are looking for.

Negate is a good counter-spell to protect against removal or other non-creature spells.

Hyena Umbra provides an extra layer of protection for your Gideon, as well as granting first strike. Lifelink for life gain, and Battle Mastery for double damage.

Swiftfoot Boots are there to provide hexproof for your Avenger.

Citadel Siege can be used for either ability... +1/+1 counters or tapping.
