Originally this was a Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker budget list, however many of the cards have gained value over time and I've added some stuff here and there.

The deck is challenging to pilot, if you misplay (ie. miss a trigger or something) just let it go and try to improve next time. The goal is to control the board with discard, orb effects and Meekstone, allowing Shirei to stick on the field. The ways to deal damage are through Blood Artist type effects, and by creating tokens. There is a little bit of a big mana theme which is intended to help play lots of spells in one turn and to try to always have mana to keep Shirei on the board. Other than that, there is a good deal of strong card draw.

So basically what this deck needs is permanent removal in black. Gate to Phyrexia, Karn Liberated, Scour from Existence (maybe), Oblivion Stone, Nevinyrral's Disk, All Is Dust,
