My take on the 2021 Modern Glimpse of Tomorrow decks that are floating around the scene.

The Deck

This deck is pretty single-minded, but can easily win games by just accumulating value if the Glimpse doesn’t go off. A Glimpse with five or more permanents usually works out pretty well, and one with 10 or more is basically always game.

Cheating big beefy beaters onto the battlefield is the name of the game and with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , Kozilek, Butcher of Truth , Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and Griselbrand that's a healthy lineup. Add to that Iona, Shield of Emeria to keep opponents off colour, along with Terastodon and Goblin Dark-Dwellers for a cheeky recast of Glimpse if you whiff.

The Elemental package is similar to that which Luis Scott-Vargas Luis posted, but I have decided not to run this with an Omnath. Wavesifter and Risen Reef add more stuff to the board and can block if need be.

How to Win

turn 0: drop a Leyline of Sanctity and/or reveal Chancellor of the Forge and create a Goblin token

turn 1: Khalni Garden and create a plant token.

turn 2: evoke Wavesifter and create two Clue tokens.

turn 3: GO FOR THE WIN - Shardless Agent in your turn or Violent Outburst in their turn and cascade into some big creatures, or an Omniscience to cast your hand.

It feels weird not to be playing any meaningful interaction in the mainboard, but this deck is super competitive and it is the most fun deck I have played in Modern for a long, long time.
