This deck is set up to gain extra value from artifacts through recurring them via Glissa, the Traitor's ability. Victories are achieved through slowly grinding away opponents' life totals and gaining incremental value. This deck is full of fun interactions, and annoying exploits, do not plan on making many friends if you want to play this deck.

The early game is focused on ramp, and trying to get ahead on mana, the late game is very mana hungry. There are some typical ramp cards, Sol Ring and Wayfarer's Bauble, however this deck also has a sub theme. The other half of the ramp package is in the form of elves. Glissa, the Traitor is an elf herself, which comes in handy for cards like Priest of Titania. Glissa can also come down turn two with the help of one mana elves such as Elvish Mystic and Elves of Deep Shadow.

The mid to late game is focued around playing and sacrificing artifacts to draw cards, or gain other small effects. In order to reliably trigger Glissa, the Traitor's ability, the deck includes several ways to make Glissa directly deal damage either through the Fight mechanic, or cards like Viridian Longbow. One all-star in this deck is Forbidden Orchard. This land produces tokens for the opponent which we can then kill with Glissa to get back an artifact.

This deck runs a small Stax package in which you can deny your opponents resources. These two cards are Tangle Wire and Smokestack. These work especially well with the Tron lands ( Urza's Tower , Urza's Power Plant , and Urza's Mine) or an elf that produces more than one mana (Wirewood Channeler). While your opponents are tapping down lands and mana rocks, you will be able to keep up your own mana. One of the more "fun" ways to win the game is to get a near infinite loop of Mindslaver. This requires a total of 10 mana, with one of them being Forbidden Orchard. On your turn, cast Mindslaver for 6, and crack it for 4. Your opponent will now have a 1/1 spirit (without flying). ON their turn do all you can to set your self up for victory, including attacking with their token into Glissa, who will block and kill it, allowing you to get Mindslaver back.

I am looking to find better end game combos, or better ways to push more damage through. This deck is decent at holding opponents down, but can have trouble taking out more than one at a time. Suggestions are always welcome. This deck is a fun way to try golgari value without just building another Meren of Clan Nel Toth (although in many situations she is strictly better), I'd recommend giving this one a try.
