Maybeboard

Just a deck I decided to make with my double masters and commander legends pulls just for a weekend way back when, but the deck ended up being surprisingly fun so I decided to keep it! Mono white aggro is the name of game with this deck, you'll find yourself carefully building up your board to get all relevant keywords before swinging in for massive damage, usually in the air and usually gaining a bunch of life. Another important part to keep in mind is that Odric's ability triggers EACH combat, deterring your opponents from wanting to swing back at you and most importantly giving your board flying to deal with pesky flyer decks (screw dragons man). The deck otherwise is about as good as mono white can be, which is to say around mid power. If you have the right keywords you can usually kill someone around turn 5-6, but the deck as it stands is very susceptible to creature based boardwipes, granted you can recover if given enough time. The deck may seem expensive, but the main core of the deck can probably be picked up for less than $20, the expensive price tag is has at this moment in time is a result of smaller upgrades I've purchased over time over time combined with some lucky pulls I've received from packs (looking at you stoneforge mystic).

Updates Add

Been a hot minute since I updated, so here we go!

Out: Plains In: Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire Pretty self explanatory, Eiganjo is a strictly better plains.

Out: Cryptic Caves In: Witch's Clinic Cryptic Caves was an underperforming utility land, hopefully Witch's Clinic will perform better by giving Odric Lifelink when we don't have any other creatures that do so.

Out: Verge Rangers In: Archivist of Oghma Struggling between keeping the Archvist or adding in Deep Gnome Terramancer but the one things that for sure is that Verge Rangers barely ever worked for me, hopefully Archvist will be better but in games I've played, it's already underperforming.

Out: True Conviction In: Farewell In truth, I don't think I've ever actually played True Conviction in a game. The deck already has much better finishers in the form of Avacyn and Akroma, but True Conviction 9/10 doesn't even do that much because I already have Double Strike, Lifelink or both. Farewell has already proved to be an amazing boardwipe and will undoubtedly stay for a long time to come. Sadly, this marks the removal of our last remaining enchantment and to be quite honest, I don't think there are enchantmentsI'd like to add in for the time being (minus of course more expensive ones that are out of my price range for now, such as Land Tax)

Out: Reveillark In: Adeline, Resplendent Cathar Reveillark never really worked out in the way I wanted it to, often being too mana intensive or just having nothing in my graveyard worth bringing back. Adeline is in here for nothing more than that she seems really good on paper, though she is a relatively new include so we'll have to see how she actually performs.

And that's about it! Sorry for the lack of updates, I picked up a new schedule at my job that tends to get in the way of my EDH day more often than not, but when I am able to make it this deck is an absolute all star at my LGS' lower power tables, expect more updates to come!
