Godo, Bandit Warlord most likely is the only monored legendary creature that has the potential for being a competitive commander. The only reason for him being so is the new card Helm of the Host that, if equipped to him, spawns a copy of himself on entering combat phase. That token has haste and is not legendary. The new Godo, Bandit Warlord will attack, trigger a second combat phase bringing a new token etc. until all your opponents have been beaten to death. YOU DO NOT NEED ONE SINGLE TUTOR TO COMBO OFF!!!

The deck is the very essence of the color red; you cannot do anything but hit people in the face, you will cast tons of wheel effects like Faithless Looting to get the right card into your hand (and possibly Anger or Dragon Breath into your graveyard), and you rely on luck with cards like Gamble and Chaos Warp.

Now lets look at the main gameplan: Fakeramp until you can cast Godo and best have some Protection such as Defense Grid or Veilstone Amulet. Proceed to tutor either Hammer of Nazahn first if you have something like Heat Shimmer/Twinflame that gets you a second Godo into game tutoring Helm of the Host and moving to combat for a win or directly go for Helm of the Host if you can afford to equip it. You will win either way in your combat phase since the Godo token from Helm of the Host has haste.

The best card in this deck is Treasonous Ogre. you will pay 33 life, get 11 red mana and combo off. For 4 initial mana :)

Of course there can be other strategies; Since this deck is a very sensitive glass canon, you can also try to drag the game by casting stasis effects such as Blood Moon or taking out most multicolor decks with Ruination. Note that one attack with Godo having Grafted Exoskeleton equipped can be enough to take out one opponent. At any rate, you can always get a Tenza, Godo's Maul with your commander and provided a haste effect you will beat down one of your opponents in two turns.

This deck list lacks expensive cards with the sole exception of Mana Crypt. If going for a more expensive build, Imperial Recruiter, Warrior's Oath, Wheel of Fortune, Grim Monolith and Lion's Eye Diamond should be the best additions along with anything whose name contains "Mox" and the red-containing fetchlands.
